We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our team at Anglian Water Services. As a key member of our Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance (IMR WRA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our workforce and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on safety and environmental matters to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with legal and moral standards.
  • Support and influence front-line site managers and staff to adhere to CDM and industry best practices.
  • Monitor compliance with Anglian Water and Alliance procedures, reviewing safety and environmental performance.
  • Develop policies, standards, procedures, and instructions to achieve best practice in safety and environmental performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry developments, ensuring we remain at the forefront of safety practices.
  • Collaborate with the SHEQ team to ensure lessons are learned and successes are celebrated.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Proven CDM experience
  • Experience interpreting and applying Health and Safety legislation in an operational business
  • Proven experience of conducting or supporting incident/near miss investigations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels
