About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Lecturer in Canine Behaviour to join our team at Hartpury University and Hartpury College. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and informative lectures on animal behaviour and welfare, with a focus on canine behaviour and training.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of our animal behaviour and welfare curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including marking assignments and providing feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver cross-disciplinary modules and programmes.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a passion for educating and inspiring the next generation of animal behaviour and welfare professionals. You will have a strong academic background in a relevant subject area, with a teaching qualification or willingness to complete one within two years of appointment.

As a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, you will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
