Job Title: SEN Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to work 1-2-1 with a challenging Year 11 male student who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic and behavioural support to the student during the first four lessons each morning.
  • Accompany the student in the afternoons to various activities such as football and gym sessions, ensuring a structured and engaging environment.
  • Transport the student to and from activities, requiring a car and business insurance.
  • Implement strategies to manage and support the student's behaviour effectively.
  • Tailor support to meet the student's specific needs, promoting their academic and personal development.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with the student, school staff, and parents.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with ASD and complex needs is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license, car, and business insurance.
  • A sporty and active personality.

Please note that an enhanced DBS check is mandatory prior to this placement, and two references are required.
