Position Overview
Nazareth Care Charitable Trust is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Specialist to join our care facility. The primary objective of this role is to uphold exceptional maintenance and health and safety standards within our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and health and safety compliance.
- Ensure the maintenance of high-quality standards for both the internal and external environments.
- Collaborate with external contractors for maintenance and health and safety projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of the environment, health & safety protocols, and maintenance records, ensuring meticulous documentation for assessments.
- Administer the maintenance budget as necessary.
- Compile reports for the General Manager as required, outlining any incidents or safety concerns.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the General Manager to facilitate seamless operations.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of traditional building trades, alongside expertise in Health and Safety regulations, Moving and Handling, and COSHH. We are looking for an individual who is personable, approachable, and dedicated to maintaining exemplary standards within the facility. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Previous experience in a maintenance role within a care environment is advantageous.
