Job Overview

This position is integral to the Healthcare team, tasked with delivering support to residents and healthcare professionals while ensuring adherence to safe operational practices within a secure setting. The role involves acting as a clinic receptionist, managing patient appointments within the clinical system, and collaborating with both clinical and prison personnel to facilitate the efficient operation of clinics, thereby providing a high-quality front-line service.

The administrator will cultivate strong relationships with prison staff, demonstrating effective communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently and adaptively.

Service Overview

The Enhanced Support Service (ESS) is a specialized model comprising a compact, multi-disciplinary team that engages intensively with prisoners and staff, utilizing a personalized, psychologically informed methodology for a limited caseload of the most complex cases. The service's objective is to mitigate the adverse effects of violent, suicidal, and disruptive behaviors while fostering a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by this population, thereby creating a more supportive and psychologically informed environment.

Key Responsibilities

The administrator will provide essential administrative support to the ESS team, including managing referrals, data entry, and database development, as well as generating insightful reports under the guidance of clinical and service leadership.

This role involves collaboration with a diverse range of agencies as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
