Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrator to join our team at Sodexo. As an Administrator, you will provide general administration support across several areas within the business, ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and providing a service to the prisons.

Main Responsibilities
  • Record Management: Maintain all appropriate records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the production of management information, regular reports, and establish trends and patterns from information received.
  • Filing and Storage: Monitor and oversee all filing and ensure that record systems are kept up-to-date and stored securely.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative duties as required by the Manager, ensuring the function is run efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely and cooperate with colleagues in other areas to ensure the safe and smooth running of the prison.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: Experience working in a similar environment or role, preferably in a business operations or administrative capacity.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate relevant IT applications and manage competing work priorities.
  • Soft Skills: Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Health and Social Welfare: Experience in the health, social welfare, or voluntary sector.
  • Legal Knowledge: Knowledge of the English legal system.
