Medical Secretary Haematology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Cancer Performance Data Analyst at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and report the Performance Monitoring of the Trust's compliance with National Cancer Waiting Times Targets and the completeness of data against the projected trajectories and for national reporting purposes.
- Oversee the collection of both demographic and clinical data for all patients with urgent cancer referrals from GPs and/or being treated for Cancer at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
- Collaborate with other services and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that the strategic service meets and achieves national performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain databases and systems to support data collection and analysis.
- Provide support to the Management Team within Cancer Performance and act as a Trust expert in area of data requirements and monitoring targets.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Data Processing or related subjects/project work.
- Experience of data collection and cancer pathways, and analysis in multi-user environments.
- Experience with database development and administration.
- Familiar with medical terminology.
- Knowledge of employment procedures and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex issues and manage sensitive communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
