HR Systems Specialist

Higher People LTD is seeking an experienced HR Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for managing our HR Information System (HRIS) and ensuring its effective use across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and deliver e-HR tools to enhance the capability of the HR function and support the business.
- Manage HR systems through administering, configuring, and maintaining payroll systems, including employee records, payroll, and benefits.
- Optimize HR systems by continuously evaluating opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and enhancement of the colleague experience.
- Monitor system capability, including implementation of system upgrades, updates, and patches as required.
- Liaise with third-party providers and suppliers to resolve issues, escalating where necessary, and provide timely business updates.
- Ensure data integrity and security by maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of all HR data, establishing and enforcing security protocols, and data integrity measures within HR systems.
- Lead the MYView system support and training, ensuring all new starters and managers understand its functionality, and deliver training sessions as required, supported by system guides and documents.
- Ensure full integration and reporting through collaboration with the IT function, allowing other business areas and systems to integrate with HR and organization systems.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting of metrics agreed by the business to enable decision-making across the organization.
- Provide supportive and clear guidance and advice for colleagues and managers on HR systems.
- Support the payroll team with system training and development of HR systems.
- Keep updated on all HR compliance and regulations, ensuring that our systems are aligned to legal and industry standards.
- Support the liaison with HR systems vendors for resolutions and introduction of new functionality.
- Provide recommendations from system reports and analysis to support business decisions.
- Previous experience of using HR and reporting systems is essential.
- Knowledge of MYView and Zellis is advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems, Microsoft Excel, database structures, and reporting software - Power BI.
- A great communicator and able to build relationships with stakeholders.
- The ability to explain complex data in a non-technical way.
