Job Summary:

Hays Travel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Branch Manager to lead our retail branch and inspire our team to deliver exceptional service to customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the overall profitability of your branch, maximising sales, and exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Branch: As a Retail Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of your branch, including managing, coaching, and developing your branch colleagues.
  • Drive Sales: You will be responsible for leading the overall profitability of your branch, maximising sales, and exceeding targets.
  • Customer Service: You will be responsible for inspiring our customers through providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Team Development: You will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing your branch colleagues to ensure maximum productivity and motivation.
  • Community Engagement: You will be responsible for acting as a figurehead within the local community, attending promotional activities and events to aid your branch performance and impact.
  • Recruitment: You will be responsible for assisting in the recruitment of colleagues into your branch, including apprentices, and ensuring their development is tailored to their talent progression.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: You will need to have great leadership skills and experience of working leading other colleagues.
  • Coaching and Development: You will need to have the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team.
  • Sales Targets: You will need to have the ability to work towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Communication and Customer Service: You will need to have excellent communication and customer service experience.
  • Accuracy and Numerical Skills: You will need to have good accuracy and numerical skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial statistics.
  • Enthusiasm and Positive Attitude: You will need to have enthusiasm and a positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business.
  • Colleague Development: You will need to have the ability to assist with the development of colleagues in order to maximise job satisfaction, performance, and talent succession.
  • IT Skills: You will need to have competent IT skills.
