Hays Travel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our retail branch and inspire our team to deliver exceptional service to customers. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading the overall profitability of your branch, maximizing sales, and exceeding targets. You will also be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing your branch colleagues, as well as inspiring customers through exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall profitability of your branch by maximizing sales and exceeding targets
- Manage, coach, and develop your branch colleagues
- Inspire customers through exceptional customer service
- Develop new business leads and maximize social media to promote offers and generate customer engagement and sales
- Oversee and support your team members' performance, supporting areas for development to achieve maximum productivity while ensuring colleague motivation and morale is at its best
- Act as a figurehead within the local community, attending promotional activities and events to aid your branch performance and impact
- Assist in the recruitment of colleagues into your branch, including apprentices, and ensure their development is tailored to their talent progression
Requirements
- Great leadership skills and experience of working leading other colleagues
- Ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team
- Ability to work towards individual and team sales targets
- Excellent communication and customer service experience
- Good accuracy and numerical skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial statistics
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business
- Ability to assist with the development of colleagues to maximize job satisfaction, performance, and talent succession
- Competent IT skills
