About the Role:

Calibre Search is collaborating with a forward-thinking Consultancy seeking to recruit a seasoned Cost Consultant with a focus on Fund Monitoring.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage closely with senior management to deliver a comprehensive suite of pre and post-contract cost consultancy services.
  • Assist in fund monitoring to ensure compliance with financial plans and provide precise and timely financial documentation.
  • Lead projects in various sectors, particularly in large-scale new build industrial schemes across the region.


Financial Oversight:

Conduct detailed financial assessments and oversight of construction initiatives to guarantee alignment with budgets, cash flow forecasts, and fund management standards.


Collaboration:

Work alongside project teams to scrutinize contracts, progress updates, and cost information, identifying any inconsistencies or potential risks.


Reporting:

Generate precise and thorough financial reports, including cost projections, variance assessments, and cash flow forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders.


Cost Management:

Monitor and regulate project spending, tracking expenses against budget and suggesting corrective measures as needed.


Change Evaluation:

Assess change orders and claims, analyzing their financial implications on the project and providing informed recommendations.


Site Inspections:

Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, verify costs, and ensure adherence to contract specifications.


Client Liaison:

Engage with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to address financial concerns and offer expert guidance on cost management and fund oversight.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation methodologies, and financial analysis techniques.

Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard quantity surveying software and tools.

Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently.
