Job Summary
CDW UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our Configuration Team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for driving the success of our team and ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Work closely with the Configuration Supervisor to ensure that the team is working effectively and efficiently
- Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact the team's performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our products are delivered to our customers on time and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and stakeholders
- Ensure that the team is working in a safe and healthy environment
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure that the team is meeting its targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Desirable Attributes and Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced technical environment
- Knowledge of organizational structures and processes
- Experience as a configuration technician would be an advantage
- Passion for the IT industry and pre-delivery configuration of customer equipment
