Business Development Director - Consumer Marketing Solutions Specialist

£75,000 base + commission - Hybrid Working

About the Role

AW Media Recruitment is partnering with a leading consumer marketing data agency to find an experienced Business Development Director to join their sales team. The agency empowers clients with data-driven marketing solutions that deliver tangible results, partnering with blue-chip brands and start-ups to plan campaigns effectively and target the right audience to maximize performance and analyze results to optimize future campaigns for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outreach to new prospects or existing clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their data-driven marketing requirements.
  • Develop and build relationships with key prospects and provide solutions to meet their data-driven marketing needs.
  • Write detailed and compelling proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Build an effective pipeline and forecast accurately to meet sales targets.
  • Communicate regularly with the Account Management and Acquisition teams to ensure campaigns are delivered within agreed SLAs.
  • Strive to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a New Business/Business Development role.
  • Previous experience in a Consumer Data, Market Research, or Direct Marketing Agency environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Consultative sales approach and account management experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and proposal writing skills.
