About the Role

Mumford & Worrall Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their Tech & Media department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic lead generation and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation and Client Acquisition
    • Develop and implement a tactical plan to generate leads and win new Tech & Media clients, ensuring alignment with the company's ideal client profile.
    • Manage the entire lead conversion process, including leading meetings with prospective clients, creating fee proposals, and transitioning new clients to the onboarding team.
  • Market Positioning and Brand Awareness
    • Enhance the company's online presence and brand awareness through collaboration with the Marketing team.
    • Attend industry-specific events, such as conferences and networking sessions, to increase visibility and establish thought leadership.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Leverage existing client relationships and external networks to increase referrals and drive growth.
    • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts and partners to support business development efforts.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis
    • Develop expertise and understanding of the Tech & Media market and proactively share knowledge internally.
    • Analyze market data and trends to inform business development strategies and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services sector.
  • Ability to convey commercial expertise to contacts and potential clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a strong desire to progress their career.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to confidently present to an audience.
  • Strong knowledge of current trends and apps within the professional services sector.
  • Proven ability to act as a technical resource and guide others.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
