Senior Carer Opportunity

Superior Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Carer to join our Complex Care team. As a Senior Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex and long-term health conditions to live safely in their own homes.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in care, with a proven track record of supporting adults/children with complex care needs. A level 3 NVQ qualification or similar is also required. In addition, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting at £13.20 per hour, plus holiday pay. Our benefits package includes a regular shift pattern, thorough induction, and ongoing paid training. You will also have access to work towards an NVQ/Diploma, company pension, Blue Light Card, and referral scheme. Ongoing support is provided by our team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with complex and long-term health conditions to live safely in their own homes.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Lead a team of care workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues, using excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in care, with a proven track record of supporting adults/children with complex care needs.
  • Possession of, or willing to work towards, a level 3 NVQ qualification or similar.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle.
  • Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
