The Role: Deputy Chief People Officer

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic People Leader to join our senior management team as Deputy Chief People Officer. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people strategy, ensuring it aligns with the overall organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement people initiatives that support the organization's strategic objectives and drive business success.
  • Champion a culture of high performance, engagement, and inclusivity, fostering a positive and supportive work environment for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, maintaining a robust HR framework.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g., FCIPD) is essential.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior HR leadership role within a complex organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
