Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PCV Bus Driver to join our team at Arriva Midlands North Limited. As a PCV Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a PCV bus safely and efficiently to transport passengers
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers
  • Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and depot staff

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid PCV licence
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Have a good understanding of road safety and traffic laws
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills

Working Hours:

Our rotas are constructed with our driving team in mind. These are split into main types of work (local, interurban and Park & Ride), though there can be a mix of each type. Full and part-time options are available, and the full-time rotas consist of mixed 4 and 5-day weeks, with 1 in 4 weekends off – with every other of these consisting of 5 days (perfect for getting away). A mix of early finishes, later starts, short days and long days exist, and every effort is made to finish for a weekend on an early and start back on a later start to maximise rest periods.

Requirements:

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Hold your PCV licence (if you don't, please apply to the Trainee role and we can give you all the paid training you need)
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Can pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Great people and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts
