Arriva Midlands North Limited is seeking a skilled PSV Technician to join our team at our Shrewsbury Depot. As a PSV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
  • MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks
  • Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification (Or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle
  • At least 5 years' experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV
  • Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
  • A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
  • Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical

Salary: £16.57 per hour. Full-Time Permanent Employment with potential Overtime. Fantastic career progression, training (including High Voltage/EV's) and upskilling opportunities. Shift work required - Working 5 days over 6 (Shifts between 05:30am - 14:00pm and 14:00pm - 22:00pm) No Sunday work.
