About the Role

Total Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for assisting in the procurement process for nuclear, electrical, and engineering categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Assist in the identification, evaluation, and relationship management of suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Contract Support: Support contract negotiation and management activities to ensure favourable and compliant terms and conditions.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry regulations to support procurement decisions.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Process purchase orders, liaise with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Cost Analysis: Assist in cost analysis and pricing negotiations to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier information, contracts, and pricing data.
  • ERP Experience: Utilise ERP systems, such as SAP, for procurement activities and data management.
  • P2P Experience: Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and systems.
  • Mini Competitions: Experience with mini competitions within procurement frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering and finance teams, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement, preferably with exposure to the nuclear, electrical, or engineering sectors.
