Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Controller

Company: Vertiv

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Controller to join our team at Vertiv. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and coordinating the company's service purchasing, inventory, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the ongoing and timely communication with key internal departments, collect and present qualitative and accurate measurements of inventory holdings, and offer clear visibility to the business.
  • Logistics: Control the timely return of Crash kits, control reverse logistics procedure for Non Crash Kit inventory, and assist with monitoring logistics business partners/solutions.
  • Purchasing: Raise Purchase Orders in a timely manner, update the system SR's as necessary, and assist with cost reduction activities for process improvements, materials, and other supply functions.
  • Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE): Assist with ensuring that all suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors are vetted, approved, and appropriate for use, and minimize gas and electricity consumption, reduce landfill waste, and incur no major environmental events.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of a similar inventory/warehouse/logistics background.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of basic planning, forecasting, and stock projection principles, awareness of warehouse and logistic processes and procedures, strong focus on customer satisfaction, excellent organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communications, commercially astute with good negotiation skills, and ability to successfully interface with various departments and personnel in potentially stressful situations.
Working Relationships

The successful candidate will interact with customers, schedulers, national service supply chain supervisor, regional operations teams, key accounts, technical support staff, service contract sales, product operations, subcontract service providers, and suppliers.
