Job Title: Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic and operational value in support of the Business and Cavendish Nuclear strategic goals and objectives.

The Role
  • Lead Procurement and Supply Chain support to a Portfolio of BUs.
  • Line Manager responsibilities to all P&SC staff across the Portfolio of BUs.
  • Build strategic relationships and partnerships with the BU S Director and Management teams to support business growth opportunities.
  • Member of the P&SC functional management team accountable for delivering the strategic goals and objectives of the business and Cavendish Nuclear.
  • Work with senior stakeholders and partners to develop and challenge the business strategy, portfolio of projects and priorities such that realistic and ambitious expectations are realised.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Warrington or Preston on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

Essential Experience
  • Fully conversant with and able to apply senior stakeholder management and advanced influencing techniques.
  • Can plan, organise and manage resources to bring about the successful delivery of specific project goals and objectives (including pre and post contract award).
  • Ability to manage teams spanning multiple projects at once and articulate to senior teams the key stages of each project.
  • Confidently leads a team that manages procurement projects to meet or exceed expectations for quality, time and cost.
