Exciting Opportunity for a Procurement Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Eden Blake Procurement & Supply Chain Search. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals and driving the delivery of a first-class procurement function.

About the Role

This is a newly created role that offers a unique opportunity to shape and mould processes, policies, and procedures in a growing sector. You will be working closely with our Head of Procurement to deliver a range of procurement frameworks and consultancy services to our clients in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 11 procurement professionals to deliver a first-class procurement function
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximize commercial value for our clients
  • Work closely with our central procurement data team to analyze data and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with our Head of Procurement to develop and implement policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role, preferably in the public sector
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with a track record of growing and developing teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and processes, with a solid commercial mind
  • MCIPS or equivalent qualification would be advantageous
