About the Role

The Engineer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Global Head of Technical Governance and Assurance. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the technical governance and assurance framework across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Governance: Develop and implement independent technical governance processes to ensure technical risks within programs are identified and managed.
  • Assurance: Manage and coordinate independent technical reviews across the organization, ensuring that technical performance data is collected and analyzed.
  • Policy Management: Manage and change control of the engineering policy, ensuring that it is up-to-date and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with and influence stakeholders regarding the integration of governance and assurance, ensuring that technical risks are effectively managed.
  • Framework Development: Develop, implement, and manage the technical authority framework, ensuring that it is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical governance and assurance, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent, with chartered membership of an appropriate professional institute.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
