Job Description

The Restoration and Renewal Delivery Authority is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Technical Assurance. This is a senior leadership position that requires a deep understanding of technical assurance principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a deputy to the Design and Engineering Director for all team-related matters
  • Oversee the technical assurance function, ensuring compliance with requirements and technical standards
  • Develop and implement standards and guidelines for diverse activities
  • Lead matrix management with other heads of function to ensure effective assurance of technical studies, solutions, and outcomes
Requirements
  • Chartered Member/Fellow of an appropriate professional body (e.g., RICS, ICE, IStructE)
  • Successful track record in a similar Head of Function level role
  • Experience in developing standards and guidelines for large organizations or complex projects
