Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Financial Analyst to join our expanding team in Manchester. As a key member of our International Payments team, you will act as a commercial business partner, enabling and supporting financial planning and decision-making to achieve financial targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Head of FP&A for International Payments, you will provide commercial business support to the team, ensuring revenue and profitability are accurately forecast and reported.
  • You will work closely with the leadership teams to formulate financial business plans, providing informative commercial analysis and insight to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Developing and maintaining financial planning and reporting models in Planning Analytics or other similar finance BI tools.
    • Providing business casing and investment appraisal support, including capital planning process (CPP) and account profitability.
    • Working with subject matter experts on complex pieces of analysis across the business.
Requirements
  • A newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or global equivalent) with PQE working in day-to-day financial planning and analysis in a global company environment, ideally from a Fintech background.
  • Recent experience working in the Planning function within financial services industries preferred.
  • Solid commercial acumen, including supporting pricing and developing business cases for investments.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • A self-starter with strong ambition to grow and develop, demonstrated by seeking out opportunities for advancement and assisting others as needed.
  • Flexibility - displays a creative and flexible approach to meet the changing circumstances of a growing business.
