Axon Moore is excited to collaborate with a rapidly expanding retail SME that has experienced a threefold increase in turnover over the past three years while also venturing into international markets.

In light of this remarkable expansion, a new opportunity has arisen for a qualified Senior Financial Analyst to become a vital part of their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This position could serve as an initial step into a managerial role for a motivated and ambitious individual with a solid background in management accounts, overseeing a team of two direct reports.

Thriving in this culture-focused environment necessitates outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, along with the capacity to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting, including P&L analysis and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee working capital management and cash flow forecasting.
  • Conduct capital investment evaluations and reviews.
  • Assist the Financial Controller and Head of Finance with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional business partners to enhance process improvements and deliver essential business metrics and insights.
  • Take charge of inventory management, including recording and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external IT partners to ensure the finance system aligns with business needs for timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review and continuously enhance financial policies and procedures.
  • Support any financial due diligence inquiries.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Confident communicator with the ability to challenge stakeholders effectively.
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Possesses ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
