About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in Manchester. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the business by providing financial analysis, planning, and decision-making expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a commercial business partner to the International Payments team, providing financial planning and decision-making support to achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure revenue and profitability are accurately forecast and reported, identifying and managing risks and opportunities to budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate and translate growth initiatives, recommending cost reduction strategies and their impact.
  • Provide informative commercial analysis and insight to leadership teams, supporting business and corporate KPIs that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Develop business cases and investment appraisal support, including capital planning and pricing and deal modeling.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to formulate financial business plans and work with subject matter experts on complex analysis.
  • Develop sales commission plans for International payments and work directly with management to develop financial plans.

Requirements:

  • A newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or global equivalent) with more than 5 years of PQE experience in day-to-day financial planning and analysis in a global company environment.
  • Solid commercial acumen, including supporting pricing and developing business cases for investments.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining financial planning and reporting models in Planning Analytics or other similar finance BI tools.
  • Evidence of strong business partnering and influencing decision-makers.
  • The right level of judgment, drive, and influence to successfully communicate key messages and influence decision-makers.
  • A self-starter with strong ambition to grow and develop, demonstrated by seeking out opportunities for advancement and assisting others as needed.
