We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer to join our team at Harmless CIC. As a Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training programs to external parties, including organizations, schools, professionals, and carers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver training packages that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality and professional training on behalf of Harmless and its associated projects to external parties.
- Design and deliver a range of training packages, including PSHE workshops, specialist workshops, and full-day and half-day specialist sessions, on themes such as mental health, self-harm, and suicide prevention.
- Develop and maintain training content in line with changes in the field and to the highest standard.
- Build and maintain excellent professional relationships with delegates and/or organizations to secure future training opportunities and repeat training bookings.
- Work with Harmless management and the wider training team to continuously improve Harmless' training packages and resources.
- Ability to deliver high-quality and professional training to a variety of delegates.
- Ability to deliver a range of training packages, including PSHE workshops, specialist workshops, and full-day and half-day specialist sessions.
- Ability to deliver against agreed learning outcomes to a high standard.
- Ability to offer a service-user perspective by sharing own experiences of distress and recovery.
- Ability to create and use PowerPoint presentations to support training delivery.
- Ability to demonstrate a broad range of delivery techniques.
- Excellent personable skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with delegates and/or external organizations.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain training content in line with changes in the field.

- Experience of delivering CPD training and/or ASIST training and/or MHFA training.
- ASIST qualified.
- Adult MHFA qualified.
- Youth MHFA qualified.
- Experience of working within a Third Sector organization.
