We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Cambridgeshire County Council. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families in Cambridgeshire.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with children and young people, their families, and other professionals to provide high-quality support and services.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized support plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people, helping them to develop life skills and independence.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and programs that meet the changing needs of children and young people with disabilities.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting children and young people with disabilities.
- Diploma (or NVQ) at Level 2 in a Childcare related subject or be willing to work towards it.
- Experience of working with children and young people or adults with a disability.
- Consideration of the significance of safeguarding.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
