About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Luggage Attendant to join our team at Jumeirah Lowndes. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining the tidiness of the luggage area and Concierge desk as necessary.
- Managing the main telephone switchboard as required.
- Handling all requests at the Concierge desk with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assisting in hotel security by reporting any suspicious activities to the Night Manager.
- Preparing a thorough handover for the morning shift.
- Delivering extra beds and performing turndown services as requested by the Night Manager.
- Safely parking vehicles when necessary and issuing correct dockets with all relevant details.
- Preparing Banqueting Boards and guiding guests to events.
- Being aware of the work schedule and providing adequate notice for any changes.
- Reporting incidents, complaints, suspicious individuals, or safety hazards immediately.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to provide personalized attention to discerning guests.
- Knowledge of luggage handling procedures, including proper lifting techniques and care for guests' belongings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with guests and colleagues during night operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure seamless guest service.
