The Associate Project Manager role will work closely with and support Project Managers to deliver assigned projects. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project throughout its lifecycle, including:

  • Leadership and Planning - Provide strategic direction and oversee project planning, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Resource Management and Budgeting - Manage project resources and budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Scheduling and Risk Management - Develop and manage project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication - Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Change Control and Lessons Learned - Identify and manage changes to project scope, timeline, or budget, and document lessons learned for future project improvement.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Project Management Experience - Proven experience in managing projects from initiation to closure, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Financial Management Skills - Ability to manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Resource Management Skills - Experience in managing project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prince 2 (Foundation Level) Accreditation - Or equivalent qualification such as APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) or MSP Foundation.
  • Comprehensive Experience with Microsoft Tools - Experience in using Microsoft tools, including project management software.
  • Experience in Managing Budgets and Cost Benefit Cases - Proven experience in managing budgets and cost benefit cases.
  • Experience in Working in a Project Team - Experience in working in a project team environment.
  • Knowledge of Project Methodologies and Software - Strong knowledge of project methodologies and software.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
