Role Overview
In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Customer Relations and Sales Support Specialist will play a crucial part in facilitating the company's customer service and business development initiatives, ensuring effective management of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all sales administration tasks, including handling incoming sales inquiries and onboarding new clients.
  • Generate electronic sales and production orders efficiently.
  • Calculate material requirements and create corresponding purchase orders.
  • Price sales orders in accordance with the established customer pricing framework.
  • Maintain controlled documentation and ensure accuracy in specification records.
  • Monitor stock levels and participate in production meetings to uphold customer service standards.
  • Manage customer service workflows and forecasts.
  • Provide requested information to customers, such as stock reports.
  • Conduct customer visits as necessary, both on-site and off-site.
  • Address customer inquiries directly, resolving service issues with confidence and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate the escalation of customer queries when required.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain network.
  • Resolve any invoice-related queries.
  • Work towards monthly targets aligned with agreed profit margins.
  • Ensure the accuracy of customer service data for management reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts team to guarantee precise reporting.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations at all times.

Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in customer-facing roles or administration.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing customer accounts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow intricate processes and procedures.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Flexibility to work collaboratively across various functions within the team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Minimum GCSE Level or equivalent in Mathematics and English.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience and can be discussed during the application process.
