Customer Relations and Sales Support Specialist

Brook Street Recruitment is pleased to collaborate with our esteemed client to find a dedicated Customer Relations and Sales Support Specialist to enhance their growing team.

In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the company's customer service and business growth initiatives, ensuring effective management of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all sales administrative tasks related to incoming sales inquiries and onboarding of new clients.
  • Creating electronic sales and production orders.
  • Assessing material requirements and generating corresponding purchase orders.
  • Applying agreed pricing structures to sales orders.
  • Maintaining controlled documentation.
  • Ensuring accuracy in specification documents.
  • Monitoring inventory levels.
  • Participating in production meetings to uphold customer service standards.
  • Managing customer service workflows and forecasts.
  • Providing requested information to clients, such as stock reports.
  • Conducting customer visits as necessary.
  • Addressing customer inquiries directly and resolving service issues effectively.
  • Managing the escalation of customer concerns when needed.
  • Coordinating with the supply chain network.
  • Resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Meeting monthly targets aligned with established margins.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of customer service data for management reporting.
  • Collaborating closely with the accounts team for precise reporting.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations at all times.


Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in customer-facing roles or administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing customer accounts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow intricate processes.
  • Proactive approach with strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Flexibility to work collaboratively across different teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Minimum educational qualifications of GCSE Level or equivalent in Maths and English.


Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
