Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering operational support to Flight Operations, ensuring the continued safe operation of the aircraft. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance to Flight Operations teams.
  • Conducting maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by senior engineers.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Assisting in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
  • Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.
Additionally, the candidate should have up-to-date knowledge of:

  • Flight/Airport Operations.
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance.
  • Aircraft Base Maintenance.

Desirable Qualifications
The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
  • Knowledge of CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations.
Preferred education and qualifications include:

  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.

Desirable Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Base Maintenance.
  • Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
Experience with Airbus Helicopters products and Military Aviation is also highly desirable.
