About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems, in accordance with written instructions laid down by OEM.
  • Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component, and composite technical work in workshops as required, utilizing specialized test equipment.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Must have thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems, as well as specialized test equipment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Flight/Airport Operations, Aircraft Line Maintenance, and Aircraft Base Maintenance.
  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
  • Experience of Base Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Line Maintenance.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
  • Knowledge of CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations.
  • Experience on H135/H145.
  • Experience of Airbus Helicopters products.
  • Experience of Military Aviation.
