We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at CV-Library.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to Flight Operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.
  2. Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by senior engineers, adhering to OEM guidelines.
  3. Work to high standards to maintain the integrity of aircraft systems and components.
  4. Perform maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems, in accordance with written instructions.
  5. Conduct off-aircraft technical work in workshops as required, including mechanical, power plant, component, and composite tasks.
  6. Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
  • Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Flight/Airport Operations.
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance.
  • Aircraft Base Maintenance.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
  • Knowledge of CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations.

Education, Qualifications, or Special Training:

  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience on H135/H145.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of Base Maintenance.
  • Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of Airbus Helicopters products.
  • Experience of Military Aviation.
