Job Title: Senior Telecoms Package Manager

Job Summary:

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Senior Telecoms Package Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Turnkey services, you will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing the integration of various systems within rail projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the integration of various systems within rail projects, with a specific lead function and expertise in telecommunication systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to maintain a cost-effective, high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible approach to design, construction, commissioning, and other technical activities on relevant projects.
  • Collaborate with designers, supply-chain partners, and other stakeholders to lead on effective constructability advice, value engineering, logistics, and delivery plans during the pre-construction phase to maximize value, quality, and safety.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integration of systems meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, design, and safety guidelines.
  • Manage and coordinate our design teams, supply chain partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems within rail and construction projects.
  • Act as a leader within Turnkey services and the wider Egis Group on all Health and Safety matters, helping to drive improved H&S performance and identifying improvements to existing performance, policies, and processes.
  • Assist the business in discharging its duties under CDM for all contracts.
  • Accountable for the profit/loss of assigned commissions within the Turnkey service Lead and utilize commercial teams to provide reporting, CVR updates, and contract administration.
  • Manage construction performance and works programmes.
  • Lead in the growth of a telecoms services team, recruitment of technical and management staff, and manage the mentoring of junior engineers and site managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunication, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in large multi-discipline rail or infrastructure projects within a tier 1/2 contractor.
  • Expert knowledge in various telecommunication, signalling, and radio systems.
  • Strong knowledge of rail industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of Project and Construction Management principles.
  • Experience with the development of project programme.
  • Account or commission management experience, with responsibility for project P&L.
