About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Asset Management and Commercial Lead to join our team at Egis in the UK. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing all commercial aspects of our business, including risk management, supplier relationships, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage commercial risk and communicate this across various stakeholders within the business.
  • Develop and implement clear sourcing strategies for designated portfolios, driving best practice processes and systems in areas of pre-contract management for projects and programmes.
  • Provide means of control and compliance through effective policies, procedures, and delegated authority structures.
  • Mitigate potential business risk through contractual, commercial, and claims management support.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and suppliers and act as a figurehead for the function, providing visible leadership both within and outside the programme.
  • Develop and implement programmes and initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the management of procurement and commercial activity within a designated function and project areas.
Requirements
  • Experience of leading large teams and strong leadership in a complex environment (senior level experience of policy and direction setting of practical and effective strategic sourcing and supply chain contracts).
  • Strong supplier engagement and development skills to drive effective contract and supplier relationship management.
  • Best practice supply chain management within relevant market to push benefits delivery (financial and non-financial) within project environment.
  • Proven experience of client management.
  • Previous experience working on large MEP projects.
  • Demonstratable knowledge and understanding of Construction law and standard forms of contract.
  • Knowledge and demonstratable understanding of financial management.
  • Adept knowledge of MS packages including Excel, Project, and Word.
Education and Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • Full UK driver's license.
