Contract Manager

Are you a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the commercial building services industry? Do you have a strong technical engineering understanding and experience in managing engineering teams? We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at a high-profile building in Central London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations are maintained to a high standard and contractual obligations are met. This will involve managing technical issues, P&L and budgets, agreed KPI and SLA's, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
The Contract Manager will also be responsible for managing client relationships, recruitment of new staff, and the technical development of existing staff. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site, as well as planning and implementing building project works.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering, and experience of managing large 24/7 sites. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise a demanding workload.
The package for this role includes a salary up to 65k, 25 days holiday, and private healthcare.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage all technical issues
- Manage P&L and budgets
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA's
- Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site
- Plan and implement building project works
- Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site
- Recruitment of any new staff required on sites
- Responsible for the technical development of all staff
- Management of client relationships on a daily basis
- Management of all reports
- Responsible for the permit system
- Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher
- Strong technical engineering understanding
- HV experience
- Previous experience of managing engineering teams
- Experience of managing large 24/7 sites
- Experience of service delivery in high profile retail, financial offices or critical data centres
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients
- Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
- Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
