We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SHEQ Advisor to join our team at Equal Resourcing. As a key member of our SHEQ department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance and support to our operational teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team to enhance their skills and knowledge in SHEQ.
- Collaborate with the Head of SHEQ to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to our SHEQ department.
- Conduct site inspections and manage audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future incidents.
- Review and update risk assessments to ensure they remain effective.
- Design and deliver training sessions and toolbox talks to promote health and safety awareness and best practices.
- Internal and supply chain audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
- Must have extensive experience in the construction or utilities sector.
- Must have experience as a Senior SHEQ Advisor.
- Hold a relevant degree and a recognized qualification in occupational health and safety, such as NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma or NVQ Level 6 Diploma.
- Hold an environmental qualification and be a member of a professional body such as IOSH.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
