Position Overview: Join the Quality and Service Improvement team at the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), where we are dedicated to enhancing the quality and value of our services.

Role Responsibilities: The Quality and Service Improvement team collaborates with various departments to establish standards, ensure compliance, and foster improvements in service quality by recognizing best practices and areas for enhancement.

We serve as a supportive partner to other teams, providing assurance to both internal and external stakeholders that the IOPC maintains high standards and prioritizes the experience of service users.

Key Duties Include:

  • Conducting a variety of assurance activities and managing feedback and complaints related to IOPC.
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of the Operations Manual, with a focus on quality enhancement and user experience.
  • Facilitating the quality improvement cycle across teams, ensuring that internal insights lead to measurable enhancements.
  • Collaborating closely with the Organisational Quality Assurance Group to keep quality improvement actions updated and transparent.
  • Monitoring the daily progress of improvement initiatives and assisting teams in measuring and documenting their impact.

Additional Responsibilities: Support the broader team in reviewing policies and standards, ensuring compliance with established benchmarks, and managing feedback and complaints effectively.
