Platform Resourcing is collaborating with a prominent manufacturing organization seeking to enhance their workforce by recruiting a Quality Assurance Engineer.


The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role within the Quality Assurance team, ensuring that all produced items adhere to stringent quality standards in accordance with client expectations.


Quality Assurance Engineer Benefits:

Competitive Salary of £30,000, with additional shift allowances of 10% for afternoon shifts and 30% for night shifts.

Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Factory Production Control requirements across all accredited standards.
  • Address customer complaints related to production operations, collaborating with process and improvement engineers to prevent future occurrences.
  • Oversee documentation management, including regular reviews of operational SOPs and QA documents, working closely with laboratory technicians to maintain product quality.
  • Monitor adherence to all quality control checks and validate production processes prior to product dispatch.
  • Assist in preparing operational KPI data for performance analysis.
  • Evaluate testing equipment performance to guarantee process stability and control.
  • Support the operations team with various project initiatives.
  • Facilitate quality meetings, presenting data in a clear and organized manner.
  • Supervise Red Flag production runs, providing an additional layer of assurance for quality compliance.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation and SAP adjustments.

Quality Assurance Engineer Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Quality Testing role within a Production, Manufacturing, or Engineering setting, demonstrating strong mathematical, analytical, and technical capabilities.
  • Proficient in interpreting test data and understanding material behaviors.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and proactively; familiarity with statistical software and Microsoft Office is typically expected.
