Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Childcare Development Coach to join our client's team. As an Apprenticeship Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and support to apprentices in residential childcare settings, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive training sessions to apprentices in residential childcare, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement tailored training programs that meet the unique needs of individual learners, promoting their growth and development.
  • Assess apprentices' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development as an apprenticeship coach, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Ensure all training materials are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards and regulations in residential childcare, maintaining the highest level of quality and relevance.
  • Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to support apprentices' on-the-job learning, promoting a seamless transition from training to practice.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentices' progress and achievements, providing valuable insights for future development and improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continually enhancing your role as an Apprenticeship Trainer and contributing to the growth and success of our client's organization.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in residential childcare management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality training and support.
  • A recognized teaching or training qualification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards in residential childcare, ensuring you can provide tailored training programs that meet the needs of individual learners.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate learners, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes growth and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with employers, stakeholders, and apprentices.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, staying current with industry trends and best practices to enhance your role as an Apprenticeship Trainer.
