Position Overview

The City of London Corporation is seeking a dedicated Bereavement Services Officer to join our team.

Salary: £33,050 to £36,850 per annum, inclusive of Outer London Weighting.

Employment Type: Full-time & Permanent

Reference Number: OENV0331

This role is based at the City of London Cemetery & Crematorium main office, requiring on-site presence for 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and the public. Proven administrative capabilities, neat handwriting, and a commitment to delivering work with high accuracy are essential. A collaborative spirit and a solid understanding of IT systems are also required.

Applicants must hold a valid UK driving license, as the role may involve transporting members of the public within the cemetery grounds using a mini-bus.
