We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the positions of Skilled Welders and Steel Fabricators on a full-time, permanent basis, contributing to our commitment to excellence. Experience in welding and fabrication, along with knowledge of various welding methods (such as MMA, MIG, TIG, etc.), is highly desirable.

About Us:

A&P Falmouth stands as one of the premier ship-repair facilities in the UK, offering a comprehensive suite of marine repair services supported by our in-house engineering, electrical, painting, and fabrication workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components in accordance with engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Operate metalworking machinery, including hydraulic presses, shears, cutting torches, grinders, and drills to shape and form steel and aluminum parts.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and uphold quality standards throughout the fabrication process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a steelworker or fabricator (welder/plater) or in a comparable role, with familiarity in welding techniques (e.g., MMA, MIG, TIG, etc.) being advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Dedication to maintaining health and safety standards in all work activities.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, essential for successful project execution.
