About the Role

A&P Group - Falmouth is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest possible standard for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate metalworking machines such as hydraulic presses, rolls, shears, cutting torches, grinders, and drills to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form steel/aluminum components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a steelworker/fabricator (welder/plater) or in a similar role, and/or familiarity with welding techniques (e.g., MMA, MIG, TIG, etc.) would be great.
  • You'll need the ability to understand technical drawings.
  • You'll be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • You'll be absolutely committed to ensuring health and safety in your work, we all work safe and go home safe.
  • You'll have excellent teamwork and communication skills, vital for success in the projects that we deliver.
