Job Advert Role Description

Hobbits Holt is a 24/7 residential care facility providing support to individuals with complex needs. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standards, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should be a flexible and experienced leader, with a proven track record of supporting people in a proactive and person-centred way. You will be responsible for line managing the senior team, ensuring high standards of care and service are achieved within the home.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Home Manager in maintaining the home to regulatory standards.
  2. Lead the senior team to deliver high-quality care and service.
  3. Support residents to live independently, including personal care.
  4. Act as a senior member of staff on shift, supporting residents and staff.
  5. Organise activities for residents, such as walking, visits to local cafes, and outdoor activities.
  6. Contribute to the on-call rota and varied shift patterns.
