Job Title: Lead Supply Chain Manager

Location: Flexible working arrangements available

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering analytical support for sourcing strategies, while identifying potential risks and liabilities
  • Creating and overseeing procurement plans that align with stakeholder needs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Providing commercial and supply chain assistance to project delivery, leading the procurement process including tender documentation, evaluation, and contract awards
  • Conducting negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms for the organization
  • Ensuring lifecycle costing is considered prior to the Invitation to Tender (ITT), including contributions to the Make vs Buy analysis and contractor selection, while tracking cost savings
  • Assisting in the formulation of supply chain strategies and spearheading their implementation

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within the construction sector
  • In-depth understanding of JCT and NEC Construction contracts
  • Knowledge of business and procurement methodologies, processes, and strategies
  • Experience in managing contract and supplier performance

Desirable:

  • Experience on the client side
  • MCIPS qualification
  • MRICS qualification or equivalent, or actively pursuing
  • Experience in regulated public sector environments
