Job Title: Lead Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering analytical support for sourcing strategies, while identifying potential risks and challenges.
  • Creating and overseeing procurement plans that align with stakeholder needs, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Providing commercial and supply chain expertise to project delivery, while spearheading the procurement process including the development and evaluation of tender packages.
  • Leading supplier negotiations to secure optimal commercial outcomes for the organization.
  • Applying lifecycle costing principles prior to the Invitation to Tender (ITT), including contributions to the Make vs. Buy analysis and contractor selection, along with reporting on cost efficiencies.
  • Facilitating the formulation of supply chain strategies and guiding their execution.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within the construction sector.
  • In-depth understanding of JCT and NEC construction contracts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business procurement methodologies, processes, and strategies.
  • Experience in managing contract and supplier performance.

Desirable:

  • Experience on the client side.
  • MCIPS certification.
  • MRICS qualification or equivalent, or actively pursuing.
  • Background in public sector regulated environments.
