Copello Global is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating 3D models of piping routes, mechanical compartment arrangements, and HVAC systems using AutoCAD.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, with travel to the North West being mandatory. As a Mechanical Design Specialist, you will be working on producing 2D drawings and 3D models, utilizing your skills in CAD toolsets such as Solidworks and Siemens.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing 3D models of piping routes, mechanical compartment arrangements, and HVAC systems using AutoCAD.
  • Creating 2D drawings and technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining technical knowledge of CAD software and design principles.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of CAD toolsets, including Solidworks and Siemens.
  • HNC / ONC level or degree qualification in a relevant STEM subject.
  • Experience in mechanical routed systems, 2D/3D in HVAC or piping.
  • Knowledge of mechanical compartment integration, room integration, and engineering standards at component/equipment level.

Candidates with experience in high-hazardous industries, such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace, Maritime, and Automotive, will also be considered.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain UK SC Clearance and be a sole British Citizen.
